Vision

The mission of Penn Voices for Collective Action is to serve as an open and active platform where all those connected with the University of Pennsylvania can discuss minority issues, campus movements and activism in general. This blog is meant to facilitate dialogue, provide opportunities for collaboration and gather support for initiatives that will positively impact the Penn community.

As former leaders of several student groups, we have found it difficult to express our voice through the traditional institutions and campus media. We feel that Penn needs an alternative media where the voices of the underrepresented and the marginalized can be brought to the forefront. We hope to fine-tune this blog around the specific needs of our community as they arise. Our vision for the long-term is to develop this blog into a publication that would be widely distributed on campus. This is your opportunity to speak up!
